Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an Interventional
Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT
and BLS certifications to join a fast-paced, Level I trauma team.
/n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an 8-room procedural
Interventional Radiology unit at a Level I trauma hospital - Care
is provided to both outpatient and critically ill inpatient
populations, including emergent trauma and stroke cases -
Procedures include embolizations (neuro and body), drain placements
and exchanges, central line placements, Y90 planning and
implantation - Staffing ratio is 1 RN and 1-2 Radiology
Technologists per procedure, with a typical 1:2 assignment -
Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, usually
07:30–18:00 with some shifts starting at 07:00 - Weeknight call
required once per week from 18:00–07:30 and weekend call every 4-6
weeks, from Friday 18:00 to Monday 07:30 - Epic EMR is used for
charting - No floating between units is required - Scrubs are
provided - Role involves advanced interventional procedures,
including emergent and complex cases - Work alongside RNs and
Radiology Technologists within a collaborative team - First-time
travelers will be considered - Requesting time off (RTO) is limited
and not allowed during specified blackout dates - Environment is
fast-paced with high patient turnover /n /n Requirements/n -
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required -
ARRT and BLS certifications required - License required if
applicable - Experience with high-volume procedural environments
