Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our team in
Broomfield, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee key financial
operations, manage multi-entity consolidations, and ensure accurate
reporting across various business activities. This position
requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with
internal teams, external auditors, and shareholders.
Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage financial operations outside
of accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Reconcile inventory
and accounts receivable records in BizTrack with data in Great
Plains, ensuring accurate updates. • Supervise accounts payable
processes, including posting and reconciliation activities. •
Handle fixed asset depreciation and updates, ensuring accurate
records. • Collaborate with part-time staff to complete sales tax
filings accurately and on time. • Ensure proper allocation and
management of financial transactions across 10 legal entities. •
Perform consolidations and eliminations for multi-entity
operations. • Act as the primary contact for external audits,
working with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Monitor
and oversee HR and payroll functions to support organizational
needs. • Develop budgeting and forecasting processes to enhance
financial planning and decision-making.• Minimum of 10 years of
experience in a hands-on Controller role. • Proven expertise in
managing multi-entity operations and consolidations. • Familiarity
with BizTrack and Great Plains systems is preferred but not
required. • Strong proficiency in document control, scanning, and
compiling financial documents. • Experience working with external
auditors and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. • Ability
to reconcile complex financial records and ensure accuracy across
multiple accounts. • Excellent organizational skills and attention
to detail. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with
internal teams and external stakeholders.
