to apply. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Golf Maintenance
Worker I : Under supervision of the Golf Maintenance Supervisor,
close daily direction of the Golf Maintenance Worker II, and
leadership of Golf Seasonal Maintenance Workers II or III, this
position maintains the Town-owned golf course. Work is primarily
performed in upkeep and maintenance of Town property. Employees in
this classification perform manual level work. Performs duties in a
manner consistent with the stated values of the organization. Must
be at least 16 years old. Possession of a valid Colorado Driver’s
License preferred. Golf Maintenance Worker II: Under supervision of
the Golf Maintenance Supervisor and daily direction of the Golf
Maintenance Worker II, this position maintains the Town-owned golf
course. Work is primarily performed in upkeep and maintenance of
Town property. Employees in this classification perform
semi-skilled, manual level work. Performs duties in a manner
consistent with the stated values of the organization. Generally, a
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred; supplemented by
one-year work experience that demonstrates the ability to safely
and effectively operate the aforementioned equipment and machinery;
or any equivalent combination. Must be at least 17 years old.
Possession of a valid Colorado Driver’s License preferred. Golf
Maintenance Worker III : Under supervision of the Golf Maintenance
Supervisor and daily direction of the Golf Maintenance Worker II,
this position maintains the Town-owned golf course. Work is
primarily performed in upkeep and maintenance of Town property.
Employees in this classification act as a lead worker and perform
semi-skilled, manual level work. Performs duties in a manner
consistent with the stated values of the organization. Generally, a
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred; supplemented by
two – three years’ work experience that demonstrates the ability to
safely and effectively operate the aforementioned equipment and
machinery; or any equivalent combination. Must be at least 17 years
old and possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License. Must
satisfactorily complete a driving record check and criminal
background check prior to commencing employment. Minimum
Qualifications: An equivalent combination of education, training,
and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and
abilities may be considered. Age Requirement: Must be at least 16
years old. Licenses and/or Certifications Required: V alid Colorado
Driver’s License preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to follow both oral and written directions. Ability to
perform heavy manual tasks which may include lifting, carrying,
pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of 50 pounds or
more. Skill, dexterity and manipulative ability to operate
equipment such as sand pro bunker rakes and trimmers. Ability to
physically access work sites to perform duties, potentially in any
weather and environmental conditions. Physical Demands: Moderate to
heavy physical work to include lifting 75lbs or less, carrying 75
lbs or less, and pushing and/or pulling 50lbs or less Ability to
physically access all work sites to perform duties, potentially in
any weather and environmental conditions Frequent performance of
activities requiring a full range of body movement including
climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling/bending, crouching,
crawling, and/or twisting Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate
tools and electrical equipment as well as for driving equipment and
vehicles Vision for reading, recording and interpreting information
Speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with
employees and citizens Work Environment: Works primarily outdoors
with exposure to all weather conditions Regular exposure to dust,
noise, and chemicals Equipment Used: Heavy equipment common to
construction and maintenance Operates vehicles such as dump truck,
tractors and/or forklift This position may require the occasional
use of personal equipment (e.g. vehicle, cell phone, tools, etc.)
