Job Description:
Description: $5000 sIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE POSITION -May be
entitled to translation/bilingual, shift or other wage premiums as
governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Please

additional information on such wage premiums: Job Summary: Provides
nursing care and services to patients/families under the direct
supervision of a registered nurse or provider. Care is limited to
activities that may be provided by unlicensed assistive personnel
with demonstrated and documented competencies that do not require
licensure. Essential Responsibilities: Contributes to ongoing
patient data collection and documentation; identifies changes in
patient status and reports changes to RN/Provider; implements
patient care under the direction of the registered nurse or
provider. Demonstrates knowledge and ability to apply the nursing
process. Performs nursing tasks as delegated by a registered nurse
or provider that does not require licensure. Demonstrates technical
competence in basic nursing skills and use of basic patient care
equipment. Records data and nursing care activities in the medical
record consistent with department and regulatory standards.
Supports nursing care by providing related services such as
clerical support and patient transportation. Demonstrates knowledge
of and application of infection control principles and standards,
including patient, environment, and employee situations. Reports
incidents, work-related injuries, unsafe equipment or environment
to management or other appropriate staff. Participates as directed
during emergency situations. Performs administrative and other
duties and accepts responsibility as assigned. Basic
Qualifications: Experience N/A Education Graduate from an
accredited school of nursing program by start date. Must obtain and
pass NCLEX-PN exam and obtain a nursing license within six (6)
months from the date of hire. Qualifies for IV authority. License,
Certification, Registration N/A Additional Requirements: Preferred
Qualifications: Experience working with electronic medical records.
Basic Life Support recommended.
