world.Job Description:Reporting to the C&E Manager for End of
Line solutions, Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of
concepting and estimating new equipment and solutions in a
particular product line or group of product lines while mitigating
the risk of each project and application. This individual will
utilize a deep understanding of the wide range of applications of
BWIS and other complimentary products, along with our client's
needs, in generating the optimal solution for a given
application.Job Responsibilities:
- Spend significant time concepting and estimating, and ensuring
timely support to the Commercial team
- Identify and analyze customer needs and complete equipment
utilization worksheets
- Review customer bid specifications to ensure expectations will
be met by our offering
- Create equipment/line layouts
- Develop complete proposal package as a deliverable to
customer
- Create applications package to handoff sold projects to
operations
- Maintain standards library for equipment layouts
- Work with OEM Partners including communicating customer
objectives and obtaining accurate proposals to be incorporated into
our offer.
- Be apart on an environment of continuous improvement to help
support reductions in engineering content (%) on sold products
- All other duties as assignedEducation/Experience:
- 5+ years related experience in Applications or Concepting with
a global company
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or similar experience is
desired
- Experience working in the Packaging Industry and with a
sophisticated CRM system desiredAdditional Qualities:

- Proven ability to proactively communicate with individuals and
groups internal and external to the organization (meetings with
customer, sales, engineering, manufacturing, field service,
internal leadership)
- Experience and competency with Microsoft Office products
