Director, Escalations and Pipeline Management

Job Description:

SUMMARYThe Escalations & Pipeline Management is responsible for managing the client experience and handling all escalated initiaves, including full administration of all interdepartmental stakeholders to ensure resources are properly deployed to meet the business needs in a constantly changing environment. This includes validating and streamlining operational process' and procedures, and working closely with the Capital Markets Operations Manager to bridge all client reporting gaps.The Director will be responsible for the assessment and ongoing management of all business practices, processes, systems, and client reporting requests. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring projects are properly documented and tracked in CM Connect, and deadlines are met with minimal exception. Duties also include administration of needed operational deliverables to comply with Rating Agency (RA) reporting requirements.KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Superior ability to successfully analyze operational workflows, and eliminate bottlenecks while increasing product quality, and productivity.
  • Strong leader with ability to organize internal and external resources, and bring new initiatives to completion on time
  • Ability to identify key structural process needs or gaps, and provide appropriate improvements
  • Good critical thinker with strong organizational ability to work in a consistently changing environment
  • Extensive knowledge of company's systems including ResWare, and Title Hound
  • General understanding of title & abstracting industry, including ability to examine title and communicate title encumberances, encroachments, and title lien position to internal and external stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of the mortgage default trading space, including expansive experience working title services for residential whole loan transactions
  • General knowledge of chain of title, and ability to work through title curative issues to restore collateral files to marketable standard
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate data using equations, Pivot Tables/Charts, macros, and quickly and efficiently organize reports in a professional manner for delivery to the company's clients
  • Strong record of managing teams to exceed performance expectations
  • Detail oriented, with excellent writing, verbal and analytical skill, and high standards for quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team, while at the same time being self-directed and action-oriented, with the ability to reinforce and build such culture
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency
  • Sound judgment with ability to escalate when appropriateESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Manage new project initiatives across cross functional team, and interdepartmental staff
    • Prepare and deliver client reporting and facilitate client escalations as received
    • Periodically update operational processes and procedures to ensure documents are up-to-date
    • Administer, and draft as needed operational requirements to obtain RA approval
    • Assume primary responsibility for structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives; developing work plans; gathering, synthesizing, analyzing and reporting relevant data; and manage execution among cross-functional teams.
    • Design and manage standardized and scalable processes using policies that motivate employees and ensure priorities are aligned with overall organizational goals
    • Provide regular communication to senior leadership as to progress and priorities for implementation; advocate new projects, initiatives and strategies
    • Present executive-level presentations that succinctly and persuasively communicate strategic plans
    • Participate in the development and implementation of new business lines
    • Other duties as assignedEDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / TRAINING
      • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience is required
      • At least 7 years of previous management experience is required
      • At least 10 years of operations experience, preferably in the mortgage industry
      • A willingness to take on additional responsibilities and challenges
