Sonus is a manufacturer of premium acoustic products serving
Architects, Designers, Contractors, Distributors and sales partners
across North America.We are looking for a Sales & Service
Operations Specialist to perform project estimates, package
submittals, fulfill samples, and support our selling force.Our

these values, then keep reading!Essential Responsibilities:
- Review and -interpretation of architectural plans and specs to
identify opportunities of represented products to bid.
- Estimate projects using material take-offs and specification
using our Salesforce CPQ quotations platform. Responsiveness is
critical to our brand. -All quotes must be performed within 24
hours of receipt.
- Follow up on all quotes, updated status, log calls and emails
via Salesforce CRM.
- Acts as the point of contact for all internal customer
communication. Sets delivery expectations, manages and updates
production status, identifies obstacles to promised deliveries.
Makes recommendations for and participates in managing
solutions.
- Provide service to our customers, vendors and outside partners
through pricing, job quotations and basic technical data and sizing
assistance.
- Handling all aspects of customer care such as problem
resolution, relationship management, and proper invoicing.
- Stay up-to-date on all new product offerings and changes in
existing products as well as continuously striving to learn the
technical aspect of all products offered.
- Prepare accurate product submittal data for customers in an
accurate and timely manner. Develop electronic PDF files for
contractor and salesperson. -
- Update submittal master templates when there is a new or
existing product
- Other duties as needed.This important role requires the strong
organizational and the ability to communicate clearly and
persuasively with both internal and external customers.Required and
Education Experience:The successful candidate must be
self-motivated and be able to perform each essential duty in a
timely and effective manner. Training will be provided; however,
preference will be given to candidates who have experience with the
following requirements listed below:
- High School Graduate
- Positive attitude with an open mind and willingness to
learn
- Willing to jump in and tackle any task (regardless of how big/
small)
- Able to read plans and specifications, compile material
take-off and summary - has strong mathematics acumen
- Must be detail-oriented
- Thick-Skinned
- Self-motivated
- Has strong ability to use proper grammar and spelling
- Computer proficiency; Google Suite experience
- Strong communication skills, including speaking, reading, and
writing English
- Actively listens to customers, partners and fellow team
members
- Has ability to establish an emotional connection with clients,
partners, etc.
- Ability to prioritize work, meets bid deadlines, and performs
multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Shows strong sense of urgency when handling customer and
company requests
- Pleasant personality and professional appearance
- Must be dependable and highly organized
- Has ability to think Big Picture
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experiencePreferred
- College graduate
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Experience with bid platforms (Construct Connect, Bid Exchange,
etc.)
- Manufacturing or architectural product experience
- 2-3 years of estimating/quotations -
- Experience supporting a Distribution Channel is a plusWe offer
