Visit us at: to learn more about our organization and living in Colorado!Position SummaryThis position will lead a team of engineers and CAD analysts who perform analytical tasks (FEA/CFD) and the creation of component prints. - Skills in Ansys Simulation Software and CREO Parametric 3D Modeling Software, along with a firm understanding of GD&T are required. - Managerial skills necessary for growing and leading a productive team are a must.Responsibilities

Lead a group of Analytical Engineers and CAD Analysts by providing project assignments, technical guidance, and general direction.Develop subject matter experts in analytical tools (FEA, CFD) and design/modeling of sheet metal, hose/wire routing, etc. Develop and implement design best practices based on industry standards and document per ISO 9001.Create template prints, results reporting format and procedural steps to engrain the use of both analytical and CAD services into New Product Development (Stage/Gate) and product sustaining efforts to ensure timely completion and quality of design.Develop and track key performance indicators (KPI's) for the group and regularly report results to leadership.Perform recruiting, on-boarding, annual reviews, and other human resource related duties.Other duties as assigned - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Competencies

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience in a directly related field 7+ years of experience in a Design-focused role utilizing analytical tools (FEA/CFD)5+ years of experience managing experienced engineering professionalsDemonstrated experience administering CAD (Creo preferred), PDM (Windchill preferred) and structural/thermal software packages (Ansys preferred)Proficient in the understanding and application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Demonstrated experience in an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing businessExperience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)What we prefer: (education, experience, certifications)
