ICU Float Pool North Region 2 yearsof RN experience ACLS /BLS - required CO RNLicense OR- multistate privileges Everyother weekend and any 3 Night shifts Bachelor'sdegree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred As a UCHealth RN Traveler, you will enjoy living and working inone of the most naturally beautiful states in the country. Job Duties/Skills and Abilities Duties:Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessmentto optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, andcommunicates patient condition as appropriate. Collaboratesas needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patienttransfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluateslearning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family educationappropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectivelydelegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses andnew hires. Requirements Graduateof an accredited Registered Nurse Program if less than three (3) years'experience. 6months nursing experience (in an acute setting) Statelicensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and any relevant unit specificcertification requirement. BLS andACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPRfor the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before startdate. BLS or CPR and ACLS card must be good through sixtydays of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued byeither the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for theProfessional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is onlygood upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American HeartAssociation sanctioned course.) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor'sDegree in Nursing BSN Experiencein a teaching/academic hospital Two (2)years RN experience TravelRN Contract experience strongly preferred Due to Point of Care Testing duties associated with thisposition, upon hire, a copy of highest level of education (diploma, degree, ortranscripts) would be required to present to the hiring manager.
