Facility: UCHealth -Colorado (Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland, Longmont, Broomfield, Aurora, Highlands Ranch, Colorado Springs) Department: Intensive Care Unit/ Progressive Care Unit - Full-time - multiple shifts - Associates degree in nursing is required
$10,000 sign-on bonus for those who qualify
We have openings in the following ICU's (6 months of ICU experience strongly preferred);

• Burn ICU
• Neuro ICU
• Cardio Thoracic ICU
• Cardiac ICU
• Medical ICU
• Virtual ICU
• General ICU We have openings in the following PCU's:
  • Cardiac PCU
  • Surgical PCU

    Summary:
    Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
    Job Duties:
    • Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
    • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
    • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
    • Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires. Requirements:
      • Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience
      • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
      • BLS
      • ACLS within six months of hire
      • 6 months of nursing experience Preferred:
        • Bachelor's degree in nursing This position's pay range starts at: $30.00/hour. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance
