Learning Ventures:Early Learning Ventures (ELV) is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality Early
Care and Education (ECE). Through an innovative shared services
model and cost-effective online platform, ELV helps child care
providers streamline business operations-saving time and money-so
they can focus on delivering quality care to more children.In
partnership with an Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships
(EHS-CCP) grant, ELV and its collaborators serve eligible children
in high-need, low-capacity communities across six Colorado
counties. By leveraging shared resources, ELV delivers
comprehensive early childhood services and supports infant and
toddler development.Position Summary:We are seeking a passionate
Health and Safety Coordinator to oversee ELV's health and safety
programming in alignment with Early Head Start (EHS) Standards.
This role plays a key part in supporting our childcare partners
across Adams, Arapahoe, Garfield, Mesa, Morgan, and Pueblo
Counties.The ideal candidate will bring expertise in public health
and child development and will thrive in a collaborative,
community-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and lead
health, safety, and emergency preparedness training for ELV staff,
child care providers, enrolled families, and program
governance.Oversee service plans related to EHS Health and Mental
Health Program Services.Lead local participation in Health and
Mental Health Services Advisory Committees (HMSAC).Establish and
maintain community partnerships and MOUs/contracts to support
comprehensive services.Guide and support ELV Child Care Partnership
Specialists to meet children's health, dental, and medical
needs.Strengthen partnerships with public health agencies, clinics,
and community organizations.Monitor and support participation in
the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).Contribute to
annual program self-assessments, grant applications, and
reporting.Use ELV's data management system (Alliance CORE) to track
and analyze program data and inform implementation.Perform other
duties as needed to support the mission.Qualifications:Bachelor's
degree in Public Health Administration or a related field.Minimum
of 3 years' experience in public health, Head Start/EHS, early care
and education, or a related area.Strong understanding of maternal
and child health, safety, and nutrition.Experience working with
diverse populations and building community partnerships.Proven
ability to use data to drive planning and improvements.Excellent
communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Additional
Requirements:Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
required.Ability to travel locally up to 25% of the time.Join UsAt
