Description: Travel opportunity for an RN in the Bone Marrow
Transplant ICU. Primary responsibilities include chemotherapy
administration and following neutropenic fever protocols, including
blood culture draws and IV medications. The unit has a total of 37
beds and a dedicated team of 82 nursing staff, consisting of 15-16
nurses and Patient Care Technicians per shift. Patient ratios are
3:1 during night shifts. The department emphasizes teamwork and a
positive approach to patient care. Joining this unit provides
exposure to advanced therapies in the field of blood cancers,
fostering professional growth in a supportive environment.
