An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in oncology to provide skilled care on dedicated inpatient units focusing on bone marrow transplant (BMT), stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and clinical trials. This contract position is based in Loveland, OH, offering a schedule of 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. The environment includes a 16-bed and a 14-bed inpatient BMT/Oncology unit with patient ratios generally ranging from 1:5 to 1:6. Flexibility to float to comparable units is expected. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants, and stem cell therapy. Administer chemotherapy safely in compliance with protocols. Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate patient charting and documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support ongoing clinical trials. Maintain patient safety and monitor for treatment-related complications. Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years RN experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, progressive care, BMT, or inpatient oncology settings. At least 1 year of travel nursing experience. 2 years of BMT-specific experience. Certification in chemotherapy administration (ONS Chemo or ONCC Chemo-Bio).
