Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is for an Occupational Therapist to serve K-12 students in an
itinerant role across multiple schools in Eastern Colorado. The
position will support a caseload spanning several locations,
delivering in-person therapy services with flexibility for remote
documentation and planning. This is a leave contract position with
a commitment through March 23, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Provide
direct occupational therapy services to students across various
school districts, including Burlington, Limon, Flagler, Woodrow,
Hugo, Anton, and Karval. Manage caseloads effectively, with current
student numbers ranging from 0 to 13 depending on the location.
Collaborate with educational teams by attending Individualized
Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to comprehensive
student assessments. Complete paperwork, treatment planning, and
documentation efficiently, with the option to perform these tasks
remotely. Travel between schools within Eastern Colorado to ensure
consistent service delivery in an itinerant capacity.
Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with
current credentials to practice in Colorado. Experience working in
a school-based setting, preferably supporting K-12 students.
Ability to manage multiple caseloads across diverse school
districts. Excellent communication skills to collaborate
effectively with educators, families, and school staff.
Self-motivated and organized to handle scheduling and documentation
responsibilities independently. Location: Primarily onsite across
school districts in Eastern Colorado, including Simla, Limon,
Burlington, Flagler, Woodrow, Hugo, Anton, and Karval. Benefits:
