Radiology Tech Location: Golden, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,025 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Technologist Specialty: - Duration: 12 months Shift: Night 10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certifications: CT certified, BLS - American Heart Association Must-Have: Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) Description: In this position, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures to obtain desired results according to physician specifications. Responsibilities include transferring patients for examinations and utilizing ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. The technologist assists with the x-ray examination process. Essential duties include performing diagnostic x-ray procedures and ensuring the proper operation of all x-ray imaging and related equipment. The technologist educates, positions, immobilizes, and performs x-ray procedures. Coordination of x-ray examinations is necessary to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care. The technologist understands and follows provider imaging orders correctly. Submission of required images and related clinical information to the radiologist for interpretation is essential. Evaluation of image quality is a key responsibility. Open, accurate, and responsive communication with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership is vital. The technologist appropriately utilizes, charges, and maintains department supplies. Practicing sterile techniques and following infection prevention policies are required. The ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines is necessary. Safely performing x-ray procedures, including patient transfer, is expected. The technologist prepares and administers contrast according to radiologist protocol. Following radiation safety measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety is crucial. The technologist supervises and evaluates student radiographers in the clinical setting. Required skills include effective communication within a multi-functional team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. The ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is necessary. Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, is required, as well as the ability to learn relevant applications.
