role: As a Physician in Surgical Oncology, you will be part of a
collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team dedicated to
delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you
will work closely with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists,
pathologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive
treatment plans tailored to each patient. Your commitment to
clinical excellence and compassionate care will help advance our
mission of improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
This position will focus on minimally invasive/robotic and open
complex surgical procedures of hepatobiliary diseases, including
tumors of the liver, biliary system, pancreas, stomach, small
bowel, retroperitoneal, and other intra-abdominal malignancies.
Competitive Compensation $520,000 plus the potential to earn more
with a production incentive This position includes a $25,000
sign-on bonus, and up to $20,000 for relocation assistance (if
applicable). We're also PSLF eligible. You will practice at St.
Joseph Hospital predominately with plans to expand on a limited
basis to Good Samaritan Hospital Your hours will be Monday through
Friday, 8am-5pm 2-3 days in the OR and remaining time in the
clinic. You will be expected to participate in hospital and medical
group conferences, cancer committee and tumor boards, and community
outreach development. There will be an adjunct faculty appointment
to the General Surgery Residency at Saint Joseph Hospital, and you
will be expected to participate in both operative education and
didactic education of residents and medical students. There will be
expectations of limited, after-hours General Surgery Acute Care
call along with our GME faculty surgeons at Saint Joseph Hospital.

here. What you'll bring: MD or DO degree from a fully accredited
medical or osteopathic school of medicine ACGME and Society of
Surgical Oncology approved fellowship in Complex General Surgical
Oncology Minimum 3 years of post-fellowship experience in
hepatobiliary surgical oncology Board certification or eligibility
in surgical oncology Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license,
or the ability to obtain one Ability to successfully complete
Intermountain Health's credentialing process Ideal Candidate will
bring a strong understanding of cancer biology and treatment
strategies and the ability to navigate complex oncologic surgeries
with a focus on developing a comprehensive hepatobiliary oncologic
