This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality support during neurosurgery, working alongside top-tier surgeons and medical staff in our state-of-the-art facilities. As a Neuro Surgical Technologist at Swedish Medical Center, you will be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing patient care and medical practices with the latest in technological advancements. This position requires precision, critical thinking, and dedication to patient safety, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to life-saving procedures. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of neurosurgeons and registered nurses. Prepare operating rooms with necessary surgical instruments and equipment. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before surgeries begin. Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures. Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations. Apply surgical dressings and assist with patient preparation and transport. Participate in post-operative care and procedural follow-ups. Expertise in neurosurgical procedures and protocols. Proficiency with surgical tools and equipment. Strong understanding of sterilization techniques. Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
