UCHealth is actively seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician Inpatient to join our team at our facilities in Colorado. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch patient care by supporting pharmacological services within an inpatient setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medication orders, packaging, and distribution alongside pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy. Our cutting-edge health system ensures that our staff is equipped with the latest technology and a conducive environment for delivering exceptional care. Accurately preparing and dispensing medications as per physician orders. Managing inventory of drugs, including ordering and storing as necessary. Maintaining medication security, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participating in the quality assurance of medication therapy. Proficient in pharmacy systems and software. Strong understanding of medication management and safety practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required. Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.
