Job Description:
HealthONE, a leader in providing comprehensive healthcare
services in Aurora, CO, is seeking a skilled Sonographer I PRN to
join our dedicated team. As part of HCA Healthcare, we prioritize
high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the diverse needs of
our patients. In this role, you will work on a per-needs basis
(PRN) and perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasonic equipment.
You will work closely with physicians to provide diagnostic images
and data that are crucial in the management and diagnosis of
various conditions. Successful candidates will exhibit proficiency
in sonographic technology and patient care, maintaining a
commitment to our standard of excellence. Operate sonographic
equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes as
directed by physicians Adjust and maintain imaging equipment,
ensuring all equipment is functioning accurately Prepare patients
for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning
patients to capture optimal images Evaluate the images for quality
and adequacy for clinical purposes, and present preliminary
findings to healthcare providers Maintain patient records and add
medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure Adhere to safety
protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure safe and effective
use of ultrasound technology Coordinate with healthcare team
members to provide an exceptional patient experience In-depth
knowledge of anatomical structures visible on sonographic equipment
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare
team Technical proficiency in operating and troubleshooting
sonographic equipment Strong analytical skills to identify
inconsistencies or issues in ultrasound images Capability to manage
sensitive information confidentially Medical Insurance Dental
