Job Description:

UCHealth seeks a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic inpatient acute care team. As part of our esteemed nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that is committed to patient-centered care. In this role, you will assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, enhancing your skills in a diverse and challenging medical setting. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technologies and resources to aid in the rehabilitation of patients across various acute medical conditions. Evaluate patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/functional abilities. Develop and implement targeted treatment plans to address diagnosed disorders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families about management and treatment options to ensure successful communication strategies outside of the clinical setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team Expertise in speech therapy tools and diagnostics Proficiency in handling sensitive patient information Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
