UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care Surgical Specialty to join our team during night shifts. Our nurses play a critical role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care in a range of surgical settings across our hospitals and outpatient facilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to teams performing life-saving surgeries and to ensure a high standard of patient care during the recovery phase in our state-of-the-art facilities. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse range of surgical settings. Monitor patient health and post-op recovery, and administer medications as ordered. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery. Educate patients and their families on recovery protocols and postoperative care. Ensure all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met. Maintain comprehensive patient records and report any concerns to physician teams promptly. Strong surgical nursing skills Proficient in using medical software for patient care management Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments Capable of critical thinking and swift decision-making Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
