Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Colorado, is
seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
to join our Labor and Delivery (L&D) Float Pool for night
shifts. This position involves working across multiple UCHealth
hospitals, providing high-quality patient care in various L&D
units. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in labor and
delivery nursing, the flexibility to adapt to different clinical
environments, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Provide direct nursing care in a diverse environment through a
patient-centered approach. Evaluate, update, and maintain accurate
patient records. Administer medications and work collaboratively
with healthcare team members. Educate and support patients, their
families, and other caregivers. Maintain a safe, clean, and
prepared environment for patients. Float between various L&D
units as scheduled, adapting to the unique protocols of each.
Expertise in fetal monitoring and maternity care. Ability to
perform under stress and respond effectively in emergency
situations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR). Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of
Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) certifications. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
certification preferred.
