qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare opportunity is
available for a registered nurse skilled in step-down care focused
on adult and geriatric populations. This contract position is based
in Loveland, OH, and involves working 12-hour night shifts with no
call requirements, providing care to progressive care unit (PCU)
level patients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive
patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and
administering medications safely. You will coordinate patient care
with the interdisciplinary team, act as a patient advocate, and
manage complex cases such as multi-system organ failure. Experience
with post-cath lab care and managing cardiac drips and devices like
central lines, chest tubes, and transvenous pacing is essential.
The role demands clinical judgment and adaptability to rapidly
changing patient conditions while maintaining patient safety and
quality of care. Key qualifications and desired experience: Current
RN license (state-specific or compact) Minimum 2 years of
registered nursing experience, including acute care BLS and ACLS
certifications required; PCCN, CCRN, and NIH Stroke Certification
preferred Cardiac stepdown or progressive care experience,
including familiarity with cardiac drips (amiodarone,
nitroglycerin, milrinone, etc.) Experience managing lines and
drains, including central lines and chest tubes Knowledge of
advanced respiratory support devices such as high flow oxygen and
BiPAP Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities This position offers
a structured 12-hour night shift schedule with a nurse-to-patient
ratio of approximately 1:5. Support staff includes PCTs, with the
unit transitioning to increased use of patient care technicians.
This contract may suit those with previous travel experience but
