Job Description:
UCHealth invites applications for the position of Registered
Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Cardiology Medicine. This role is pivotal
in delivering high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions
at our state-of-the-art facilities. The ideal candidate will
integrate clinical skills, knowledge, and compassion to meet the
unique needs of our cardiac patients, ensuring the highest
standards of patient safety and care in a collaborative team
environment. Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients
in an acute care setting Monitor patient health and progress
post-surgery or during treatment Administer medications, maintain
detailed documentation and communicate effectively with the cardiac
care team Educate patients and families on treatment plans,
medications, and lifestyle adjustments for optimal health outcomes
Engage in continuous education to stay updated with advancements in
cardiology and nursing practices Proficient in cardiac care nursing
practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Skillful
in using medical software for patient management Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN
license BLS Certification ACLS Certification preferred
Certification in Cardiac Vascular Nursing (RN-BC) a plus
