Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse (RN) for our Fellowship in the Emergency Department. This
specialized program is designed for RNs who wish to advance their
skills in emergency care. The Fellowship provides intensive,
hands-on training in emergency medicine along with educational
sessions to enhance your knowledge and response capabilities in
high-stress situations. As a fellow, you will work alongside
experienced emergency staff, gaining invaluable experience in
patient care within a fast-paced environment. Assess and stabilize
patients in emergency situations Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care Participate
in educational programs to enhance emergency medicine skills
Implement care plans and document patient progress Adhere to all
hospital protocols and safety measures Strong clinical skills in
emergency care Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure
situations Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proficiency
in using medical software and patient management systems Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current RN license in the state of Colorado BLS certification; ACLS
and PALS preferred Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN)
desirable after completion of fellowship
