Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile. Assist surgeons during operations, providing instruments, keeping operative field clear, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. Monitor patient status and ensure the patient's safety throughout the procedure. Document all nursing care throughout surgery and cooperate with team members to ensure procedures are performed in alignment with hospital protocols. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care and necessary follow-up treatments. Manage recovery rooms post-operation, monitoring patients' vital signs and administering medications as prescribed. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection. Proven ability to operate and manage surgical equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for educating patients and coordinating with healthcare teams. Critical-thinking and quick decision-making skills. High attention to detail and precision. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS certification preferred.
