Job Description:
UCHealth seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our Acute Care Resource Pool. In this diverse and dynamic
role, you will float across various acute care departments,
adapting your expertise to meet the specific patient needs at
multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities within our
Colorado-based, nonprofit health system. This position is designed
for individuals who thrive in changing environments and are
passionate about delivering exemplary patient care in a variety of
settings. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various
acute care units. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient
care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor
patients' response. Educate patients and families on health care
and disease management. Maintain patient health records and report
changes in patient conditions to the appropriate team members.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, and support the
health system's commitment to patient-centered care. Strong
clinical skills in a range of acute care settings Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively
within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility and adaptability to
work in various departments Efficient time management and
prioritization abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of
Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
