This role requires a deep understanding of occupational therapy practices in an acute care setting, with a strong focus on patient recovery and rehabilitation. Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient functionality and independence. Document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing management of their conditions. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic care. Maintain patient records and comply with healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in continuous education to stay abreast of industry advancements.
