Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Forensic Nurse
Examiner/Safe Instructor to join our nonprofit health care system
in Colorado. This role is pivotal in providing compassionate and
specialized care to patients who are survivors of assault, as well
as educating fellow healthcare professionals on best practices in
handling sensitive and complex cases. Conduct forensic examinations
and collect evidence for survivors of assault. Document findings
and provide testimony in legal proceedings as required. Educate and
train healthcare staff on forensic examination techniques and
protocols. Provide emotional support and medical care to patients
in a sensitive and confidential manner. Stay updated with the
latest practices in forensic nursing and patient care. Clinical
competence in forensic nursing Ability to handle sensitive
situations with compassion and discretion Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Educational and training capabilities
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Medical Insurance

Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Completion of a Sexual
Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) training program Certified Forensic
Nurse (CFN) preferred
