Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout perioperative procedures. This contract role is based in the vibrant area near Lone Tree, CO, offering an opportunity to work in a well-equipped Main Operating Room with a dedicated team. Location Overview:The position is located in an advanced surgical unit within a major medical center near Lone Tree, Colorado. This growing area combines suburban comfort with easy access to metropolitan Denver, popular for outdoor recreation, dining, and cultural attractions. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Main Operating Room. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and tech staff during diverse surgical procedures (excluding burns, transplants, and heart surgeries). Utilize Meditech EMR systems for accurate documentation and patient monitoring. Adhere to established unit protocols and maintain patient safety standards. Respond efficiently in trauma and vascular cases as required. Desired Qualifications: Current RN licensure with Operating Room experience. Proficiency with Meditech EMR. Certification in ACLS and PALS. Experience or interest in trauma and vascular surgery preferred. Strong self-motivation, ease in teamwork, and adaptability under pressure.
