Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience required. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS required. Must-Have: - Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center experience required. - Epic charting experience required. - Minimum of 2 years of robotic scrub experience required. - No first-time travelers accepted. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The candidate should have experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center. The job involves a 12-hour day shift starting at 10:45 AM. Flexibility for weekend shifts is required based on unit needs. The candidate will need to float to other Operating Rooms as necessary. Responsibilities include scrubbing for various surgical cases including general, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgeries. The role requires excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should possess skills to circulate an emergent craniotomy. Ten days of requested time off are allowed with specific blackout periods for scheduling. Travel experience is required, as is the ability to adapt to various surgical situations. The candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimum patient care.
