Manager; reports to other stakeholders as needed to achieve goals
on specific projectsDirect Reports: - Aestus Field Technicians and
equipment repair vendors. Other stakeholders report to Field Team
Leader & Equipment Manager as needed to achieve goals on specific
projectsLocation: - - - - - - - - - - - - Candidates for the Field
Team Leader & Equipment Manager must live or be willing to relocate
to be near our Loveland, Colorado headquarters to manage equipment
for field readiness and be within -1 hour drive of a larger
airport. All positions at Aestus are virtual/remote working from
your own home office while not in the field.Annual Salary: $70,000
- $100,000 per year, dependent upon qualifications and
experienceJob Overview:This position is critical to managing all
field operations and equipment maintenance. In the field, the will
be responsible for all crew and work performed at a client site.
When not in the field, the Field Team Leader & Equipment Manager
will be required to prepare for upcoming field projects including,
but not limited to, equipment readiness, composing the field work
schedule, preparation of maps and other materials needed for field
work, and coordination of field crew travel plans. After field work
is completed, the Field Team Leader & Equipment Manager will assist
with the compilation of field-related materials for delivery to the
client. Overnight travel to client sites typically for 5-14 days at
a time, within the US and internationally, is required.Preferred
Qualifications:
Associates/Bachelors/Masters degree
in construction management, land surveying, GIS, geophysics, civil
or electrical engineering, geology, environmental science, or
related science degree5+ years of field work management experience
(environmental industry preferable) leading project field teamsAble
to troubleshoot and maintain equipment (mechanical & electrical
experience required)Strong communication skills, written and
verbal, to interact effectively with clients, regulators, project
team members, and company management.Land survey experience with
functional knowledge of geospatial data collection and management
(coordinate systems)Experience with instrumentation (electronic,
laboratory, geophysical, etc.) Experience driving truck/tow vehicle
with trailer

Equipment Manager Job ResponsibilitiesManage/lead the field team,
ensure the team has the tools necessary to complete required work
to collect data Oversee preparation for work in the field
including:Ensure all gear and equipment is QC'd and/or procured
ahead of mobilization to client siteLead pre-mobilization web
conference with clientPublic and private utility locatesAssist with
reviewing proposal figures for logistical considerations and
production estimatesEnsure survey coordinates are prepared and QC
checkedManagement of health and safety paperworkCoordinate all
travel and accommodation arrangements for the field teamClean and
maintain field work equipment and instrumentation including truck
and trailer as "firehouse ready for deployment." -Equipment must be
maintained and in ready status at all times Interact with client
representatives on project sites regarding specific project/client
needsOversee/employ strict equipment QA/QC protocolsManage field
data transfer to Aestus' servers Monitor and ensure DOT compliance
relative to transporting Aestus equipment across state linesDrive
truck and trailer with equipment to project sites; occasionally
coordinate shipping of equipment and fly to site location (all
Aestus vehicles are non-smoking)Other tasks as required in support
of projects and/or the companyHours and Travel
This position is full time (40-hour
work week) and estimated as 50/50 field work/office work position
on a net basis over the course of a typical yearAdditional hours
(over 8 hours per day and over 40 hours per week) will be required
on most field projects and/or may be required to meet deadlines,
including occasional nights and weekends during field
projectsTravel via road and air to/from project sites at US or
international locationsFlexibility to mobilize to a site on
relatively short notice of usually 1-2 weeksWhat Stakeholders Need

provided with a company owned laptop PC and software as well as a
VOIP headset. However, stakeholders must provide the following:
