Overview
The Ranch, Larimer County's Fairgrounds and Event Center, is seeking a hard-working individual to join our team as a Housekeeper!

Housekeepers at the Ranch Events Complex maintain the cleanliness of the facilities so the public can continue to enjoy all of the events at our site. They also help keep the facilities safe and proactively take preventative measures for safety and repair.

The Ranch Events Complex has earned a reputation as one of the region's premier event and entertainment complexes. The Ranch campus also includes the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose venue that is host to a variety of family shows, rodeos, comedy events, concerts, and the Colorado Eagles. Responsibilities
Specifically, this position:

  • Performs cleaning duties including removing trash and cleaning and/or sanitizing all spaces as planned and assigned by supervisor.
  • Supervises crews and their daily cleaning including performing cleaning inspections, training community service participants on cleaning and equipment operation, modifying crew assignments to meet the building's needs, and keeping records.
  • Responds to operational issues, equipment issues, hazards, and alarms during shift.
  • Performs outdoor and indoor building and site security checks including monitoring entrances and parking lots, access for after-hours activities, checking and securing interior doors and turning out lights before securing the building at the end of a shift, and checking and securing exterior doors and windows by walking around the building before setting the alarm.
  • Maintains grounds by removing litter and emptying receptacles.

    We are looking for a candidate that will:
    • Make minor maintenance repairs to the building and custodial equipment.
    • Report maintenance, equipment, and supply needs to supervisor.
    • Use safe work practices.
    • Correct and/or report safety hazards.Understand the current methods, materials, and equipment used in the cleaning of buildings, office space, and other facilities.
    • Use cleaning supplies needed for sweeping, seat cleaning, floor care, restroom cleaning and disinfecting, and wall, glass, and metal cleaning.

      Qualifications
      All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
      • Must be at least 18 years of age.
      • One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
      • Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.

          Supplemental Information
          The typical schedule for this position is 7am - 3:30pm. This position will work a schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

          An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of required pre-employment testing.
