Overview
The Ranch, Larimer County's Event Complex, is seeking a hard-working individual to join our team as a Technical Services Support TEMP!Technical Services Support team members will be responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment. This position works directly with Technical Services Manager on required audio-video production before, after, and during events.
The Ranch Events Complex has earned a reputation as one of the region's premier event and entertainment complexes. The Ranch campus also includes the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose venue that is host to a variety of family shows, rodeos, comedy events, concerts, and the Colorado Eagles. Responsibilities
Specifically, this position:

• Sets up, installs, and operates equipment for events and functions such as microphones, computers, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, lighting systems, and soundboards.
• Confers with meeting or show director to establish cues and directions.
• Ensures equipment is installed according to designated layout.
• Tests and resolves equipment issues.
• Connects, routes, and distributes cables and equipment throughout the facility as directed.
• Sends equipment for repairs as needed.
• Maintains inventory of equipment.

  We are looking for a candidate that will:
  • Have experience in audio and video equipment.
  • Have knowledge of Adobe software.
  • Have digital literacy and experience with MAC and Microsoft Windows.
  • Have basic knowledge of networking equipment.
  • Provide good customer service.
  • Have troubleshooting skills for audio/video equipment.
  • Have open communication and work well with others.
    
    Qualifications
    All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
    
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • B.S., A.S. in Electronic Technologies or related field preferred.
    • Three (3) years of AV infrastructure design and installation experience preferred.

      This is a temporary position.
      
      The typical schedule for this position can vary based on event schedules. This position will work a schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
      
      An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. Successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result.
