6/6/2026 The Opportunity: As the Chief Software Architect on the
FADE program you will work across an organization of 100 talented
engineers to build consensus, champion innovation, efficiency,
security, resiliency, standardization, and best practices across an
interconnected set of client applications and microservices. You'll
work with Mission Engineers and Product Owners to develop technical
product roadmaps and own the program's system-wide technology
roadmap and vision. The Chief Architect works with development
teams to define and communicate the technical solutions that meet
emerging mission needs and cyber security requirements. This
position is both highly technical and customer facing, requiring a
unique blend of outstanding technical acumen and strong
communication skills. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a
technical vision for a cloud-based enterprise-level data analysis
platform that supports tens of thousands of users Work alongside
the development teams to evolve the architecture using best of
breed capabilities that meet mission demand Directly interface with
the customer to provide technical understanding of the existing
system while developing and communicating designs and future
roadmaps Build strong relationships with cross-functional
engineering teams to ensure alignment of product roadmap, vision,
and strategy Own, create, and collaborate with others to create
software designs and improvements while providing technical
leadership and direction Review designs to ensure the system
supports scalability, performance, security, modularity, and
resiliency Have a passion for software and a desire to keep
informed on new and emerging technologies Designing and building
client-server architectures for cloud-scale applications Use of
industry proven open-source applications to support a broad set of
application development teams When and why you've utilized licensed
COTS applications Experience with container technology (e.g.
Docker, Kubernetes) development and deployment Examples of
technical leadership in cross-functional, highly collaborative
environments DevSecOps pipeline experience with Configuration
Management tools (e.g. GitLab, ArgoCD, Helm, Nexus, etc. ) Your
experience with Agile Development Methodologies and modern
DevSecOps practices Your technical background in Software
Development and Cloud Infrastructure How you approach continuous
improvement of systems, software, and processes Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering,
mathematics, or related field 10 years of experience in areas such
as: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering,
infrastructure, security, data & analytics, etc Knowledge of
Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies, and guidance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Active TS/SCI
security clearance Desired: Development experience with large
databases and datasets Understanding of zero-trust architecture
principles Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
Experience developing/architecting solutions on a public cloud
(e.g. AWS, Azure) Experience with document stores and
search/indexing technologies Experience with modern messaging and
event streaming technologies CompTIA Security or similar

factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited
to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
