Level II Trauma Unit focusing on the care of Trauma, Surgical
and Neuro critically ill patients.
America Heart Association BLS, ACLS and CO RN License or Compact
Bachelors degree nursing is preferred

Plans, implements, and evaluates patient careplans based on
patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize
Monitors, records, and communicates patientcondition as
Collaborates as needed across disciplines tocoordinate patient
care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral
andspiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/orfamily and provides
patient/family education appropriate to age, culture,condition, and
circumstances. Effectively delegates patient care to
ancillarypersonnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.
