You will use employee relations knowledge to coordinate the complex process and provide human resource services, including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, leave management, industrial/labor relations, and monitoring compliance programs.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Serves as HR Employee Relations business partner for the location. o Provides coaching, information, and feedback to leaders and employees by interpreting organizational policies to issues. o Partners with leaders on the Performance Improvement Process, offering support from start to finish. Educate leaders on the process and ensure conversation and warnings are appropriate, expectations are clear, and documents are legally sound.o Administers the company's leave of absence program for assigned lines of business. Provide support and information to leaders and employees on the process.--- Designated initial contact for all employee/management inquiries, issues, or complaints--- Conducts investigative process within HR policy and standards --- Maintains working knowledge of all state and federal regulations changes, additions, etc. Works with CHRO or General Counsel as appropriate for implementation of changes.--- Actively handles employee relations issues, some complex in nature, with minimal supervision. Escalates more complex issues to appropriate HR staff.--- HR representative for engagement and retention initiatives.--- Reinforces FAU supervisor and manager training principles and skill development with new staff to organization or newly promoted leaders--- Performs other duties as assigned.Working hours: Flexible Work Schedule, Monday - FridayQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. A work experience equivalent in a related area would be considered Proficient knowledge of Human Resources' scope of responsibilities with special emphasis in Employee Relations/Coaching/Employment Law At least 2-3 years of proven HR business experience SKILLS & ABILITIES--- Approachable, professional, with high integrity--- Skill in developing relationships and trust quickly--- Successful relationship-building skills at all levels--- Effective communication skills include active listening to understand, adjusting communication style to meet the audiences' needs, and use of questions to define real issues.--- Natural problem solver, seeks information, verifies real issues, and works collaboratively to develop creative options and successful solutions.--- Confidence in successfully engaging employees at all levels of the organization--- Organized, critical thinking skills with the ability to bring clarity to complex data or issues --- Proficient writing skills able to carefully (and legally) detail employee/management issues--- Able to work effectively with conflicting or changing priorities while meeting specific deadlines--- Comfortable working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. --- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision as a remote HR representative of the FA HR Solutions team.--- Proficiency with MS Office products, e.i., Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint --- Knowledge of internal audit accounting, audit processes, and related areas.LANGUAGE SKILLS--- Ability to converse and respond to common inquiries from senior management and all other internal customers.--- Ability to write business-related documents such as letters, emails, and other business correspondence as needed.REASONING ABILITY--- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours, answers and makes calls using a standard telephone, types on a standard keyboard, and reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and written resources.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The compensation is $45,000 - $60,000 This position is located in Colorado, as such, employment in this position is subject to the labor and employment laws of the state.
