Visit us at: to learn more about our organization and living in Colorado!Position SummaryThis position is responsible for developing a strong team that is focused on meeting daily production goals. The person in this role is also responsible for coordinating line activities, ensuring that on-time delivery goals are met, maintaining safety measures, troubleshooting problems, as well as serving as a role model for other employees, among other duties. The person in this role may also be responsible for some administrative tasks related to their employees such as time punches, time off requests, or questions related to their employee's pay. Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong team environment and promote mutual respect
  • Drive the production schedule to meet commitments and customer expectations
  • Set daily production goals and provide direction and support in achieving these goals
  • Respond to assistance calls and provide support to technicians, as needed
  • Coordinate line activities and ensure resources are in place to certify on time delivery
  • Monitor productivity and collect productivity data, as requested
  • Exercise judgment to meet production schedule commitments and manage product changeovers
  • Ensure adherence to quality specifications
  • Communicate information across all levels of management and to area regarding production schedules, work schedules, team performance, quality, and safety; and respond to employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot problems and conduct root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence
  • Encourage and help drive continuous improvement in assembly processes
  • Serve as a role model for technicians and other employees
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules and practicing safe work habits; and work with Production Manager to proactively meet all safety goals and objectives

You should also be collaborative and exhibit a positive attitude toward your work and colleagues. You should possess desire to help others and provide assistance or guidance.
    • Communication: Demonstrated ability to interact respectfully with all colleagues and customers. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are essential along with the ability to listen intently to others. What we require: (education, experience, certifications)
      • 5+ years of relevant/related experience in automotive manufacturing or related industry
      • Demonstrated experience in tooling, fixturing, and torque fastening systems as well as tooling techniques
      • Demonstrated experience/comfort with various computer systems such as Microsoft Office, ERPs, MRPs, MES
      • Demonstrated project management experience What we prefer: (education, experience, certifications)
        • 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or other related industry
        • Working knowledge of vehicle design, automotive production techniques, and both vehicle inspection and testing processes
