Description Unit: Environmental Services Location: Medical Center of the RockiesWork Schedule: 1.0/80 hrs pp - Full Time - NightsSummary:Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.Responsibilities:

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Requirements:
  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED, or in lieu of HS/GED, satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required. Exception - neither HS/GED nor competency testing are required for positions at Yampa Valley Medical Center (YVMC).The pay range for this position is: $18.00 - $23.400 / hour.
