Job Description:
Responsibilities
Be accountable for Supply Chain team including procurement,
materials management, and logistics at the Loveland Site.
Partner with Platform team to ensure we are using the power of all
of BW to get lower material cost, better quality, delivery and
inventory for all our BWIS sites.
Provide leadership by encouraging others to discover, develop and
apply their talents enabling them to reach their full potential.
Help guide team members to find their own answers.
Commitment to Safety -Create and maintain a safe work
environment
Work with all other departments to meet or exceed goals in areas of
Cost structure, delivery and quality.
Do this by working with Site leaders to understand how the GSC can
impact that locations effectiveness. Also need the site leaders to
understand the needs of the business unit
Working with team leaders in accounting and GSC team members so
that any issues are resolved in a timely manner that allows for
more effectiveness of both teams.
Work with operational team leaders to ensure that we have realistic
expectations and understanding of operational planning goals and
expectations.
Work with Leadership team in determining best KPI's to use and
report on to establish a base line to improve upon, we don't know
if we are improving if we don't know where we are.
Report current KPI and what we are doing to improve or how we hit
target
Cost savings - gross and net
PPV
Non-conformance reporting
Vendor OTD when it becomes an issue
Duties
Working with Director of GSC develop a 1-3-6 month plan
Develop vision for the Loveland SC and implementation plan
Team Development
Team Skill sets - identify weaknesses and strengths and develop
training to capitalize on strengths and improve weakness.
Manning levels
Help develop Subject matter experts in areas that are needed.
Process Improvement
Facilitate teams that are developing standards - Best Practices
from across all locations
Effective Processes - ensure we are utilizing the best practices
for each functional area
KPI - Report on GSC KPI monthly
Supplier performance - Review as necessary with team members
Supplier relationships
Existing - Help negotiate and improve vendor understanding of our
business model and develop partnerships with vendors
New - Approve when necessary
Engage team members as necessary to ensue we are performing to
expectations
Help negotiate when needed
Facilitate meetings
The approximate pay range for this position is $75-120K. Please
note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the
position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based
on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge,
skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the
position.
