Job Description:
Position Summary The Territory Manager is responsible for
expanding relationships with prospective and existing customers by
leading and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or
more assigned product lines. This role is accountable for achieving
sales targets and business results within the assigned territory.
The Territory Manager works closely with Marketing, Regional
Managers, the Director of Sales, Clinical Specialists, and other
departments to successfully meet corporate objectives. Key
responsibilities include meeting sales expectations, strengthening
relationships with key customers, and creating a positive customer
experience as we expand our customer base. Position Expectations
Ability to develop and manage a business plan. Ability to follow a
sales process and consistently maintain the process in “Salesforce”
(SFDC) to support the business plan. Achieve quarterly and yearly
quota. Maintains and expands the active customer base and pipeline
through collaboration with the sales support team and customer
partnerships. Builds rapport with customers, recognizes the
importance of relationships, develops long-term partnerships, and
represents the organization with the highest level of
professionalism and integrity. Develop an understanding of product
technology and its applications sufficient to engage with
physicians and customer functional departments. Ability to identify
opportunities and barriers to adoption and effectively deliver
Sales, Marketing, and Market Access messaging. Ability to travel to
support the territory properly. Ability to properly forecast month,
quarter, and year-end projections and routinely maintain SFDC with
applicable updates. Participate in business development and
educational activities, including trade shows and industry
meetings. Qualifications To perform this role successfully, an

to perform the essential functions. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare related field. Minimum
of 3 years of sales and/or Account Management experience,
preferably in the medical device industry (pharma and diagnostic
sales experience preferred). Demonstrated success in building and
maintaining strong sales. Must be able to meet all hospital
credentialing requirements, including but not limited to background
check, drug screen, and certain immunizations. Must be insurable
and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be willing and able to
travel (by automobile or air, day trips and overnight stays)
50-75%. Preferred Qualifications Previous capital and/or disposable
sales experience in the medical device industry. Demonstrated
ability to achieve results through managing, building, and
executing a sales pipeline. Demonstrated ability to develop
relationships with HCPs and office staff. Other Required Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated ability to think and act
strategically, considering both short and long-term impact. Strong
customer service skills. Excellent work ethic – must demonstrate
they can get out in the field every day and find business.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated
ability to positively manage working relationships. Ability to work
independently, with minimal supervision Ability to be an integral
part of a larger team, encouraging peers, working collaboratively
in a professional manner, and being part of an effort greater than
just her/his territory. Exceptional personal initiative and desire
to drive continuous improvement.
