Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in medical excellence in Colorado, is seeking
a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team.
As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create detailed images
of the body that physicians use for diagnostic purposes. Working in
our state-of-the-art facilities, you will collaborate with a team
of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and
detailed imaging reports necessary for treatment planning and
healthcare delivery. You'll contribute directly to patient care
while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance within a
supportive environment. Operate MRI equipment to produce quality
images of the body for diagnostic purposes while ensuring patient
safety. Explain MRI procedures to patients, answering questions and
providing comfort and support throughout the process. Monitor
patient safety and comfort, and report any unusual occurrences to
the appropriate staff. Ensure the accuracy of patient information
and imaging data. Maintain equipment and manage MRI machines'
day-to-day operations to adhere to safety standards and regulatory
requirements. Work collaboratively with radiologists to analyze
images and determine the necessity of re-scans. Ability to operate
complex MRI machinery Strong communication skills for interacting
with patients and healthcare staff Attention to detail and
proficiency in following clinical safety standards Capable of
managing patient data and imaging results confidentially and
